Innovative and Interactive Education
We have been involved in launching and running the Economic Education Portal of the National Bank of Poland (Polish central bank) - www.NBPortal.pl. This is one of the largest e-learning implementation in Poland and Europe with over 70 thousand students and 4 Million unique users of the portal.
We have prepared and developed the Economic Education Resource Bank www.eerb.nbportal.pl - an Internet site for central bankers interested in exchanging ideas and experience in the field of economic and personal finance education. It has been already used by 50 central banks.
With our partners we have prepared and launched the Personal Finance Educational Portal www.ZrozumFinanse.pl for the Citi Handlowy (Citibank) Poland.
As a part of the Savings Week 2007 action we have launched an internet portal on savings tdo.interia.pl for the Kronenberg Foundation by Citi Handlowy (Citibank) Poland.
In cooperation with the Science & Knowledge Foundation we have created and distrbuted a series of 24 animation cartoons explaining Main Economic Terms (they all have English subtitles). The series constitutes unique multimedia economic dictionary. Another 12 cartoons are to be presented Spring 2009.
We have developed the Portal on Modern Education www.EDUNEWS.pl. It aims to motivate Polish educators to adapt new approaches to 21st Century education.
Edutainment and Mass Media Programs
We are majoring in the Edutainment programs and educational projects organized in cooperation with the mass media (education as the media message). For instance we have designed and implemented several important initiatives (for the National Bank of Poland):
nationwide test of financial and economic knowledge in the TVN private television Gold for the Bold - Poles and Money 2006 watched by 8 Milion audience (www.zloty.onet.pl).
Popular radio novel A Motel in the Contryside - two seasons on air 2006-2007 in the Polish Public Radio Program 1 (www.motel.wp.pl). It got over 1 Million of listeners a week.
CO? (What?) the Internet Film Portal (www.co.interia.pl) - we have prepared 60 short movies in YouTube style focused on everyday economic and financial issues, but presented in a funny and original way. Those films have been viewed by over 4,5 Internet users.
We have prepared eduvertisement action called Poles Own Wallet Portrait (http://portfelpolakow.patronat.onet.pl/), where 266 short interviews with six TV celebrities were produced and broadcast in the TVN private television. Those interviews were about saving and spending money, promoting rational and responsible attitudes. They got over 10,5 Million audience.
For the Kronenberg Foundation we have coordinated and developed the first Savings Week in Poland (2007) nationwide educational action. There were 270 schools participating in that program. As a result of the mass media involvement in that action, 80 radio programs - devoted to savings and investments - were broadcast in 16 radio stations of the Polish Public Radio.
Training Programs
As we are experts in economic and financial education, we also developed training programs for economic and financial journalists, as the role of the mass media in information society is crucial:
The Central Bank in the Market Economy - the training program for 174 Polish journalists (2005-2006)
The Economic Education of Journalists - the 3-year training program for 15 Kazakh journalists for the Soros Foundation Kazakhstan (2008-2010)
THINK•POINT’s team was involved in over 50 nationwide educational programs in Poland and abroad. These initiatives could be divided into several groups:
- interactive education projects through the Internet
- edutainment programs
- nationwide and regional educational projects in the mass media

Below we present our most important initiatives. Most of them is in Polish, so if you like more information or want professional consulting, feel free to write to us.
